We are currently seeking two professionals that fulfill either of the following criteria:
- Professional clinical or eating disorder experience – ideally in eating disorders service delivery, preferably as a senior clinician with leadership responsibilities.
- Government relations and advocacy experience – ideally with existing networks in both State and Federal Government in the areas of health.
The EDV Board comprises up to 9 members with substantial skills and expertise, drawn from the corporate, private, public, health and community sectors. Board members work in a voluntary capacity to provide strategic oversight and governance in line with EDV’s mission.
Board members are expected to attend all board meetings, join a subcommittee, and support the strategic plan of the organisation. The time commitment will be approximately 8 hours per month.
All board members are required to be paid members of EDV.
New board members will be joining a professional, experienced board but you do not need prior board experience. You will, however, have an interest in addressing mental health issues and eating disorders, preferably via your own lived experience. We strive to have a diverse board and encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
Applications close May 20th 2021.
