EDV are excited to welcome Belinda Caldwell into the role of CEO for at least the next 12 months.

Belinda brings enormous experience of the eating disorders and broader health sectors and a deep personal commitment to making a difference to the eating disorders journey for those who experience them.

Belinda has a Masters in Public Health and is an experienced CEO in her own right, having led the Australian Practice Nurses Association for seven years. Most recently, Belinda held a senior role at CEED, the Victorian Centre of Excellence in Eating Disorders.

“I am incredibly honoured and privileged to be able to take on the role of CEO of EDV for at least the next 12 months. Some of you will know me from other roles I have had within the eating disorders sector, others will not. What you do need to know is that I have walked the journey of the family member seeking help and supporting effective treatment for my beautiful younger daughter. I have a professional background in health and not for profit management, but it is the journey my family and I have been on for the last 8 years which drives my passion for making the journey for all with an eating disorder and their families as smooth, as impactful, and as empowering as possible.

The awesome team at EDV have been extremely welcoming and it has been great to both learn in detail of the work we do, and to begin to explore with them what more we could do.
