Stop, Breathe & Think (iOS and Android)

The Stop, Breath & Think app is a free mindfulness, meditation and compassion building tool for middle-school students, high-school students, and adults. The app is simple, fun, and easy to use. Check-in to how you are thinking and feeling, and select emotions that guide you to recommended choices from 15 age-appropriate mindfulness and compassion-building audio meditations in a prioritized list.
The app is available to students and adults where they need it most – accessed anywhere and at anytime via iPhone and iPad. For educators, the app easily integrates into classrooms, extracurricular activities, and mindfulness zones on our partner-school campuses, and is in the form that teens like to use – technology that has become deeply embedded into their daily routine. By becoming kind towards oneself and aware of personal thoughts and emotions, students learn to be aware and tolerant of others, and interact with the communities they inhabit from a perspective of understanding and with a sense of being positively connected.

Time needed: Time is really flexible as you can choose the length of meditation (only when going through meditation list). Very suitable for brief usage during daily tasks.
User friendliness: 9 / 10
Comments: We really like the plain and accessible language. The app was very intuitive and usable for all ages. Content of meditations was good. The app offers a personalised suggestion of mediation to perform based on emotions/current feelings which we thought was really great.
