About the role:

Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV) is recruiting for someone who is friendly and organised to join the team as a part-time Receptionist. The role involves administrative activities that support the organisation’s services and programs. Key accountabilities include administration for the clinical services program, processing accounts, managing equipment, data entry and general duties to support the EDV team.

The hours are Tuesdays 10am to 6pm, Wednesdays 10am to 6pm and Thursdays 9am to 5pm. Additional hours may be required.

The position reports to the Client Services Manager and is provided with ongoing support, supervision and training.

About you:

We are looking for someone who wants a career in reception and administration. The successful candidate will be the initial contact for those who come to EDV.

Salaries and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award – 2010, Level 3.

In addition to the hourly rate, generous salary sacrifice arrangements apply.

Director - Board Member

About the role

The EDV Board comprises up to 9 members with substantial skills and expertise, drawn from the corporate, private, public and community sectors. The Board members work in a voluntary capacity to provide strategic oversight and governance in line with EDV’s mission.

We have a vacancy on the board due to the recent resignation of a long serving member. EDV is now seeking a director who ideally has worked in an eating disorders service, preferably as a senior clinician with leadership responsibilities.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and strong relationship building capabilities. Knowledge of the community and/or health sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite. The board member will be expected to attend all board meetings, lead the clinical governance subcommittee, and support the strategic plan of the organisation.

The time commitment will be 8 hours/mth.

All board members are required to be paid members of EDV.
