Eating Disorders Victoria is committed to working towards the plight of positive body image and eating disorder awareness in Victoria and beyond. 

An effective way to reach out and appeal to a broad audience in spreading the message of hope and support is through the help of ambassadors – people who are admired and renowned in their respective fields and act as a representative for their cause of choice. Ambassadors can come from a wide variety of backgrounds – whether they are revered within a niche group or audience, such as a respected business leader, or hold widespread fame or celebrity status for their achievements. An ambassador provides credibility and status to a worthy cause, and allows an organisation to access a far greater audience reach in disseminating its message.

EDV is seeking ambassadors with an interest and passion in the field of positive body image and eating disorder awareness, prevention and treatment. You do not need to have personal experience with an eating disorder to be an EDV Ambassador, simply a desire to use your influence and leadership in reaching out to members of the public to spread the message of hope and recovery, and raise awareness of the reality of eating disorders.
