Getting There is a presentation produced by Eating Disorders Victoria which follows the personal accounts of eight people from diverse backgrounds who have recovered from a variety of eating disorders. They openly share their stories of recovery and how they overcame such feelings as low self-esteem, depression and anxiety, which often co-exist with an eating disorder.

Through their stories of setbacks and successes we understand that although recovery can vary in duration, difficulty and treatment, the journey is a valuable and enlightening one. Getting There highlights ways for us to grow and be empowered by our challenges, and the importance of treating ourselves with generosity and love.
