Student Assignments

Eating Disorders Victoria welcomes questions from students at school, university, TAFE and elsewhere.

We aim to provide accurate, research-based answers in a timely fashion to help you with your assignments. However, due to the large number of questions we receive each week, and the fact we are a not-for-profit organisation with limited resources, please observe the following:
  1. We answer questions by email, not by telephone or on camera. For ethical reasons you will not be able to talk to someone who is recovered from an eating disorder.
  2. Please limit questions to no more than six.
  3. We require up to two weeks to reply by email, to all questions.
  4. Students are required to observe the EDV Presenting on Eating Disorders Guidelines when asking questions. You can read these guidelines for students and presenters here.
  5. Rather than request research and background information, please use the EDV website. It contains information sheets, research material and up to date statistics to help you with your assignments.
  6. Please view the key statistics and student frequently asked questions pages on the website prior to emailing your questions, to ensure your question has not already been answered.

Submitting Your Questions
Please email your questions, along with your name, educational institution, course title and a very brief description of your assignment to edfv@eatingdisorders.org.au
