Community Presentations and Talks

In addition to the workshops available upon request, Eating Disorders Victoria provides a variety of presentations and events throughout the year designed to provide education and information on the topic of eating disorder awareness and body image issues. The structure, size and delivery of these events vary greatly. Some events are designed for specific audience members, such as carer support workshops, while other community awareness presentations are designed for a much broader audience, including people who are interested in eating disorders and body image for varying reasons. EDV also sponsors and hosts events with guest speakers and experts who may be in Victoria, providing Victorians with the opportunity to access a wide range of educational materials and resources according to their needs.

Eating Disorders Victoria is always open to event ideas, including approaches from guest speakers in the field who are seeking a host organisation to arrange event details and registration.
