The EDFV Helpline is supported by trained volunteers who understand the difficulties associated with eating disorders. Supervised by the Volunteer Services Coordinator, we aim to support those whose lives are affected by eating disorders by responding to your telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries and messsage board posts.
Your call is very important to us and we endeavour to respond to all calls however at times you may receive the answering service so we encourage you to leave a message so we can return your call promptly. When returning your call we never say where we are calling from inorder to protect your privacy and confidentiality.
Similarly, if you are calling after hours you can leave a message and your call will be returned the following working day.
Please note that all email enquiries will be responded to as soon as possible but at times due to demand a response make take a few days.
Similarly, message board posts are approved before being made visible and this may also take a few days.
