The Eating Disorders Resource for Health Professionals provides a comprehensive introductiong to eating disorders. It was designed for those health professionals wanting to know more about the early identification, assessment and treatment of eating disorders. This resource is designed to accompany a training program called the Introductory Training in the Management of Eating Disorders. It is therefore not intended to be a complete or stand-alone package for the management of eating disorders. We recommend that health professionals interested in working in the area of eating disorders undertake a preparatory training session in order to complement this resource.
