How We Are Funded

Eating Disorders Victoria is a non-government not-for-profit organisation which relies on grants, corporate partnerships and donations for its operating funds and special projects.

Core Funding

For many years, Eating Disorders Victoria has been acknowledged by the Victorian Government as a state-wide specialist for eating disorders, and has received a recurrent grant from the Department of Human Services to assist with our work. This grant currently covers approximately 80% of our operating costs and provides for a base level of support, information and referral services including the Eating Disorders Helpline, community education groups and support groups for people affected by eating disorders in Victoria.

Grants, fundraising and donations

In order to expand our services beyond the base level, Eating Disorders Victoria relies on the generosity of other grant bodies, sponsors, corporate and individual fundraisers and donors.
